"I have always thought of accessories as the exclamation
point of a woman's outfit" I second this quote by Michael Kors. A woman's
outfit isn't complete unless she has the right kind of accessories to go with
it. One such fashion necessity is a clutch! Wether it's a casual brunch with
your girls, a party or post work soirées, there is a statement clutch for every
occasion and it is all you need to enhance your outfit.
I recently came across the uber stylish and high on utility
clutches by Tarini Nirula and was completely smitten by her creative designs
and detailed work. Having graduated from NIFT, India where she specialized in
Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories, Tarini launched her own label of luxury
fashion accessories in 2011 and has been designing enchanting clutches and bags
since then. While interacting with her, I could sense the immense passion and
zeal she has for her work which is clearly reflected in her clutches. She has
recently launched two new collections which I would like to take you guys
through and therefore I would be doing a series of posts featuring beautifully
handcrafted minaudières' by Tarini Nirula.
Her latest collection draws it's inspiration from the beauty of
nature and the the phenomena of ‘Iridescence’ - luminous colours that seem
to change when seen from different angles. I will be talking more about her
minaudières' in further blog posts until then have a look at how I styled her
Minaudière 'Majestic', a striking statement piece clutch inspired by the
shades of a majestic peacock feather and showcasing intricate bead work with
sequins on the feather. The clutch has an optional antique gold chain, handwork
on one side and peacock feather print on both sides, making it a perfect
accessory for both Indian as well as Western occasions.
This is one of my most favourite pieces from Tarini's collection
and I decided to style it with a plain dress to let the clutch do all the
talking.
